Episode 34 - From Pomona College to Prison Ball, a Hoops Journey with David Liss
Episode 34 is up, and this one is almost as tall as Dave… but it’s a much better shooter. And person. We are joined by Branson legend, Cal walk-on, and Pomona star Dave Liss. Dave is awesome - and this discussion touched on, among many other things, his experiences playing hoops with inmates at San Quentin Prison. A fantastic program that has had a meaningful impact on many lives. Dave and Duffy also discuss a fundraiser (in honor of our dear friends Johnny Kearns, who is recovering nicely from a cardiac event, and the late, great Sean Canon, who devastatingly left us way too soon) - and in doing so, we give our listeners the chance to finally buy some RunTMC gear. For a good cause. Thanks as always to our sponsors - Caren Horstmeyer, North Bay Basketball Academy (NBBA), Medium, The Hub, San Anselmo and Nike Camps at San Domenico.
