Interview– Dan Dibley

New episode is up and it got fired for refusing to change the Fairfax Theatre marquis in a driving rain from “Gremlins” to “The Muppets Take Manhattan.” Scandalous. Legendary Marin native, MC grad and 25-year veteran of Bay Area sports talk radio (and RunTMC Podcast fan), Dan Dibley, joins us to wax poetic about the history of Marin hoops, his amazing broadcasting career, his paltry coaching record, his 36-year CYO ref’ing career, his star turn in “Flubber,” and his obsession with the RunTMC pod. Dibs came over just to banter and laugh for an hour or so. And it was epic. Hard hitting journalism here. We reveal controversial St. Rita’s CYO 8A-team placement shenanigans circa 1981. It’s like an episode of Dateline. But different. Can’t thank Dan enough for hanging out. If you’re feeling down, listen to this one, people. It’ll cheer you up. Dan is hilarious, insightful and just downright entertaining.

Thanks, as always, to our stellar crew of sponsors: NBBA North Bay, Jessie and Laurent, Caren Horstmeyer, The Hub, San Anselmo, and Nike Camps at San Domenico.
